Rev. James Dollins has been blessed to have been brought up
surrounded by the love of God, embodied by Christians in the United Methodist Church.
He now gratefully serves as the pastor of Anaheim UMC, joining this church in
sacred weekly worship, and in its ministries to neighbors in our community.
Born in Prescott, Arizona and raised in Escondido, California, Rev. Dollins
felt a call to Christian ministry during a high school spiritual growth
retreat. He went on to earn an undergraduate degree in English at U.C.
Berkeley, and then a Masters in Divinity at Garrett-Evangelical seminary in
He is joyfully married to his wife, Serena, the loving mother of their two
sons, Forrest and Silas. Their family loves nature, music and hiking through
beautiful parks. He is confident that God's Spirit is alive and doing new
things at Anaheim United Methodist Church and in our world.
