Anaheim United Methodist Church

AUMC Womens Groups

The women of AUMC regularly meet and do the work of Christ:

Luncheon meetings are held at 10:30am on the 4th Thursday of January, March, May, September, October and December.  Annual fund raising events include a rummage sale and craft fair.

  • Circle of Hope is a group of women (all ages) who meet on the 2nd Wednesday of each month. We usually have a potluck dinner, with a meeting afterwards.  Chris Abeltin is president of the group.  She and Sherry Hanberg handle organization of meetings and dinners.  Call the church office (714-776-5710) for more information.
  • Faithful Women is a group of women dedicated to visiting our home-bound members, and meeting for devotions and fellowship. This group meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in Fellowship Hall.  One month they will have a meeting, the next they will go calling.  We invite any women to come help us keep our sanctuary pews neat and orderly, and write cards to the home-centered.  If you would like more information, please contact Cheryl Clark or Bobbie Tomey.
Many times we have a family in our congregation that may need some assistance. Faithful Women would like to ask for donations . . . Scrip cards for gas, grocery stores, drug stores or Target and Wal-Mart . . . or, of course, money. Getting one or two scrip cards may be just the thing that is needed to sustain a family. Any donations would be greatly appreciated.  Call Sherry in the Church office (714-776-5710).

All women of the church and community are invited!

Please call the church office (714-776-5710) for more information.
