Youth are involved in many activities throughout the year...
Youth Sunday is a special day in the life of Anaheim UMC. One Sunday each year, the youth of AUMC plan and lead the congregation in worship through music, scripture, drama and liturgy. The graduating seniors give the message. This is an event that the whole congregation looks forward to each year.
Every summer, youth participate in the Sierra Service Project. Last summer they traveled to McDermitt, Nevada. They worked hard, serving the Paiute-Shoshone Tribe by painting, roofing, and building. Coming up this year - Teec Nos Pos, Nevada.

Dinner and Worship
What can you expect
on a normal Youth Night? Youth
Group is specifically designed for teenagers to encounter the life-changing
message of God’s love. Throughout
the night students are given opportunities for fun, friendship, and personal
growth. Youth Group always begins
with dinner. Sharing a meal with
each other gives students the opportunity to build meaningful relationships. The first hour of Youth also includes a
time of worship. Through worship
we learn to express our experiences and love for God. The remainder of the night includes interactive games,
teaching moments and discussions, prayer, and other alternative worship
opportunities. If you are
currently in 6th grade through 12th grade consider joining us!
Our youth room has a new projector. The youth and young adults sometimes watch movies in the youth room on Sunday nights. The projector was purchased with the monies from the Werner Lubahn, Dorothy Glodt, and Betty Fennell memorials.
We would like to thank these families for allowing us to use the monies for this wonderful project.
