Anaheim United Methodist Church

Our Prayers

JOYS

We extend the Prayer Shawl Ministry today to Gary Oien, Don Betzshold, Marge Jividen, and Gina Messenger, with shawls made by Rhea Switzer, Linda Boyle, and the Craft Faire, and they were delivered by Rudy Zitney, Sherry Hanberg, and Anne Lapora.

For the youth and the delicious pancake breakfast they are serving this morning and the wonderful ministry their presence brings to our congregation.

For Frima Kertman as she has officially requested to be removed from the “Home Centered” list and has felt well enough that she even driven Tom’s car a couple of times.

INTERCESSIONS

For the leaders of this Church; especially today for the members leading the Connection Hour classes as they provide adult education in all areas and help foster spiritual growth.

Continued prayers for the family and friends of Ruby Betzhold as her memorial service was held yesterday. Prayers for strength and healing in their time of transition.

For Cheryl Clark’s son as he faces some difficult medical and family situations.

BEYOND US

Especially today for the 1000 plus delegates, bishops, and lay members at General Conference in Fort Worth Texas. May their hearts, ears, and minds be patient and receptive to God’s call as they help shape the future of the United Methodist Church.

SISTER CHURCHES

We pray for our 10 sister churches in the 91/5 Mission Center as they continue to work toward helping others around them experience the Kin-dom of God.

OUR HOME-CENTERED MEMBERS

For our members who are home-centered, especially this week for…

Jerry Langston

Leona Loviska

Louise Lawson

Muriel Lenz

Paddy O’Hearn
