Once a month volunteers from Anaheim United Methodist Church and the Native American United Methodist Church distribute food to over 270 families, for a total of 1,190+ people served.
The Mobile Pantry Program provides fresh produce and other nutritious food directly to needy families and individuals who struggle to make ends meet. Each Mobile Pantry delivery includes a minimum of 5,000 pounds of fresh fruit, vegetables and dry goods. The deliveries cost $200.00.
The current and ongoing economic crisis has left many families with the difficult decision of buying groceries and other basic needs, or paying rent and mortgage payments. This program helps families get through these tough times. Nutritious, healthy food allows people to work and study so that they can become more self-sufficient.
Your help is needed! Cash donations are needed to continue this important project. Any donation you make towards the monthly $200.00 cost means children and their parents don't have to go to bed hungry.
