Ways to Serve on Sunday Morning
We are in community with one another at AUMC! It takes
many people serving on Sunday mornings to make AUMC a place of welcome
and hospitality:
Serving Opportunity: Sunday Morning Greeter
Description: Greet and welcome visitors as they arrive in the Sanctuary.
Time Commitment: 45 minutes once a month (serve 30 minutes prior to service and 15 minutes following service)
Hours: 1st service, Sun., 8 – 8:30 a.m. & 9:15 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
2nd service, 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. & 11:30 – 11:45 a.m.
Special Abilities: Welcoming spirit and interpersonal skills

Serving Opportunity: Sunday Morning Outdoor Greeter
Description: Assist and greet visitors as they walk up from the parking lot into the patio area. Answer any questions they may have about our worship service, Sunday school or infant care and how to get to different areas on our campus. Help introduce them to others to make them
feel comfortable.
Time Commitment: One Sunday per month for a year. Can choose to either greet at 8:30 a.m. or 10:30 a.m. service. Greeters arrive 30 minutes prior to worship service.
Hours: 8:00- 8:30 a.m. or 10:00 – 10:30 a.m.
Special Abilities: Friendly and welcoming spirit. Interpersonal skills

Serving Opportunity: Information Booth Volunteers
Description: Work in the Information Booth on Sunday mornings to answer questions, hand out information and otherwise assist people.
Time Commitment: One Sunday per month for a
year.
Hours: approximately 8:00- 8:30 a.m., 9:15-10:30 am, or 11:30-12:00
Special Abilities: Friendly and welcoming spirit. Good interpersonal skills
