Please join us in our ‘Building for Tomorrow’ capital campaign! Much of the following information was shared on Sunday, May 28th in worship by our Finance Chair, Bob Osborn:
As ministry rebounds after the pandemic, we are blessed as a church to see our physical spaces put to good and regular use! We also recognize that our regular and deferred maintenance costs need attention.
As we look to the future alongside our Board of Trustees, there are hopes to update restrooms and improve our AV abilities for groups using the Fellowship Hall.
We continue to respond to the natural wear and tear around the campus, such as roof leaks, and sprinkler breaks.
We also give thanks as we see how this physical space allows us to offer effective ministry in and with our community, day after day.
Therefore, we hope to raise $35,000 for expanded hospitality, addressing the actual costs of building maintenance, and making the necessary investments to serve the community for another 50+ years here in this location.
We are also pursuing grant funding from our Annual Conference’s West District Union, which will be very beneficial to these goals.
Finally, we know not everyone can give financially, but perhaps you’d be willing to give of your time? We are working with the Trustees as they create a ‘Fix-it Team,’ where volunteers can work on tasks around the church to keep it up and defray costs.
More information about all of this is available on the patio after worship this morning, and more will be coming out in the Buzz, our e-newsletter, as well.
If you would like to give financially, you can do so in person by indicating ‘Building for Tomorrow’ in the memo line,
Or on our website giving page, there is a drop-down menu where you can select the same, ‘Building for Tomorrow.’ https://aumc.churchcenter.com/

Thank you for your support as we respond to God’s call for us as AUMC.
