Gather Worship is AUMC’s Wednesday evening worship service, blending elements of modern worship, Bible study, and discussion questions. All are welcome to join us on Wednesday evenings at 7pm in the East Building or virtually via Zoom for music, fellowship, and conversation.
Do you have questions about the Bible or about faith in general? Are there passages in the Bible or theological ideas you wrestle with? This service is perfect for you! Gather Worship seeks to meet each participant where they are. We emphasize subjects like mental health, social justice, diversity, and inclusion, and seek to create a space where all are welcome to come as they are.
We asked some of our attendees to think of a word that represents Gather Worship to them, and created the word cloud you see below. The larger the word, the more times it was mentioned! Some of the words that we feel represent our service well are: welcoming, warm, open, interactive, accessible, and healing.

In addition to our usual Wednesday evening services, Gather Worship also prioritizes service projects and social gatherings. In the past, our service has worked with our church’s food ministry, the Neighbors Pantry, and we plan events like our s’mores night, which you can see clips from in the video above!
We would love for you to join us on a Wednesday evening, either in person or on Zoom!
