Our Neighbors in Need pantry is growing
We are so happy to report that the Neighbors in Need Pantry ministry at AUMC is growing! It is growing so significantly that there is now a need to add an additional day to make and pack boxes.
When the pantry first began, volunteers were making and packing around 50 boxes per week, and now the need has risen so much so that volunteers are making and distributing around 160 boxes of food per week.
With this rise in demand, the Neighbors in Need Pantry will be starting a Wednesday evening weekly meeting at 6PM in the East Building. Volunteers will meet to make boxes, pack boxes, and restock shelves each week. The first Wednesday night meeting will take place on December 1st. If you are interested in volunteering for this opportunity, please contact Sandie Duff or Lee Strohm.
Thank you so much for your continued support of the Neighbors in Need Pantry!
