Thank you, Caliber Collision of OC for your amazing food drive donation of 770 pounds of shelf-stable foods. Your donation will ensure that fewer families in Orange County face food insecurity.
Caliber Collision (they do bodywork on cars) locations throughout Orange County joined with Second Harvest Food Bank of OC to host food drives at each of their locations. We are grateful for their generosity and promotion to end hunger in our county. Without partners like Caliber Collision, many more families would struggle to make ends meet.
We also would like to thank the Second Harvest Food Bank of OC who contacted the Neighbors in Need Pantry to see if we could accept this donation. Lee Strohm made the pickup on June 16th from the Caliber Collision here in Anaheim. Thank you to John Duff and Kathy Ramsey for getting the donation unloaded, sorted, stocked and packed.
This donation came at a perfect time to meet some of our gaps in shelf-stable food goods. This donation has already been distributed to the community.
Thank yous pour in weekly from the families for the food provided. Smiling faces and words of gratitude are shared during the distribution. Please know that your donation is deeply appreciated!
Each week during our Thursday distribution, we serve over 70 families and homeless guests (which translates to 300+ individuals). Do you know anyone facing food insecurity? Please have them visit our website and click here to request a food box. We distribute Thursdays from 11 AM to 1 PM.
