After two years off, due to Covid, we were able to open our doors again to the community for our Easter Egg Hunt. Seventy four attendees came to enjoy a wonderful egg strata breakfast organized by Sherry Hanberg. Many thanks to the many who made stratas and helped to serve the breakfast.
Special thanks to Sharon Runge who not only made beautiful center pieces which we sold and made $200 dollars, but who diligently went around to businesses to support this event. Due to this, all the food and paper goods were free. Supporters of the event were Home Depot, Stater Bros in Anaheim, Ganahl Lumber, Sam’s Club, Numero Uno, Pic N Save, and Ralphs in Fullerton.
Thanks also to Betsy Critchfield who stuffed over 2000 eggs. Thanks to all who donated chocolate and eggs. Thanks also to the many volunteers who hid these eggs. We also had a petting zoo which the children enjoyed and a visit from the Easter Bunny.
Helping to organize the event along with the craft table were Coral Mills and Joan Fielder. You ladies rock. I so appreciate how you kept working out the details when I was out on Covid quarantine.
Making this event happen took a village of volunteers, too numerous to mention, but you know who you are and we offer our greatest thanks. All of us working together helped to reach out and bring the love of Christ to the children of our community.

Many thanks to all the great volunteers who helped make our annual Easter event a success!
About 1,400 Easter eggs were hidden much to the delight of all the children. There were also Easter crafts for the children to make and take home. The petting zoo is always a treat for not only the children, but also the adults.
Everyone was well fed thanks to Sherry Hanberg and many other wonderful volunteers. The Easter Bunny’s appearance was an added treat.
Lastly, we were all happy the weather cooperated to make it a wonderful day for everyone.
