2025 Priorities

Outreach Ministries - Our Neighbors Pantry is serving over 700 hungry families every week, and making the transition to a marketplace model so that everyone we serve has a grocery-store-like experience, characterized by dignity and hospitality.

Small Groups - We are launching more new small groups this fall, expanding the opportunities and topics that people have to connect and grow in their faith throughout the week.

Congregational Care - Our Grief Ministry, Care Team, Meal Ministry, and Prayer Shawl Ministry continue to share the compassion of Jesus through prayer, visits, and practical help.

Welcoming New People - Our worship attendance is up and growing, both in person and online! We continue to expand our digital ministry presence, and Messy Church is celebrating its 1 year anniversary this Fall!

JOIN US! Stewardship Launch Lunch // September 28 - After Service. We will have lunch together, and a time of connection as we discern our priorities together as a church for 2026.

Vision For Good

We rejoice in God’s constant presence and grace in our lives! At Anaheim UMC, God gives us hope through a caring church community. Together, we face challenges, discover new ways to collaborate, and serve our neighbors each day. This is our gift—to serve God by serving others.

This fall, beginning September 28th, we’ll reflect on our theme: Vision For Good. Over four weeks, we will explore how we can faithfully support our church in 2026, guided by our vision: “To reach out, serve, and invite with the love of Jesus Christ.”

Through every change, God’s love remains steadfast. Anaheim UMC is committed to nurturing faith within our congregation and sharing God’s love in action with the wider community.

Your support makes this ministry possible. By giving what you can in this season, you help us steward resources wisely and sustain our mission. Together, we can faithfully fund our 2026 budget and continue to grow in God’s love.

We look forward to reflecting, rejoicing, and serving alongside you!

GENEROSITY

  • Reflect on God’s abundance in your life. Pray for guidance and discernment. Lift up Anaheim UMC and its mission to form disciples of Jesus Christ to further God’s Kingdom. Pray for those not yet here, that they may be welcomed and nurtured in faith.

  • As we grow in God’s love, we respond by serving others! God empowers us to meet the needs of the world, making God’s love a tangible reality and a catalyst for change.

  • We invite you and everyone you know to worship, grow, and serve with us as we participate in celebrating God’s generous love for all.

  • Reflect on God’s abundance in your life. Pray for guidance and discernment. Lift up Anaheim UMC and its mission to form disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Pray for those not yet here, that they may be welcomed and nurtured in faith.

  • Review your current giving as a percentage of your annual income. Reflect on how God has blessed you this year and consider what portion you might give back for ministry.

  • Use the chart below to help determine how you might increase your giving in 2025 when completing your Annual Giving Commitment Card.

  • Making a commitment in advance helps AUMC’s leadership budget wisely, ensuring a steady cash flow for fixed expenses such as utilities and payroll. It also supports our faith journey by encouraging us to give of the “first fruits” to God, rather than what is left over or a tip.

  • On Consecration Sunday, October 13, we will consecrate our commitments to God during worship. This is an opportunity for our congregation to express our confidence in God’s provision and our gratitude for God’s blessings. Join us after worship for a light lunch & ice cream social celebrating the gift of community.
